RG-Style Painted G Generation-F SD RX-93 Nu Gundam
For a kit first released way back in 2000, the G Generation-F SD BB (No. 209) RX-93 Nu Gundam can still be an impressive model if you take the time to do some basic painting and panel-lining work. And because of how cheap it is, you probably won't feel too bad if you screw up with things like seam-line removal and masking.
In case you missed it, you can see the build process here.
Closing thoughts
As a whole, I think I did pretty well with this kit. But if I were to nitpick my own work, I'd like to have been cleaner with the panel-lining and detailing and I should've taken more time to fix the masking residue problem. Worse, my hand-brushed Future topcoat seems to have cracked in some areas, particularly the back of the fin funnels. But at least these are lessons that I can take with me for my future builds.
If I ever decide to pick up the newer No. 387 SD Nu or the upcoming SD EX-Standard Nu, I might just have a sort of second attempt at this.
